The The Latin English Study Bible is a work in progress. It is a combination of the Latin Vulgate Bible, the English translation, and translation commentary.
The Catholic Public Domain Version, Original Edition was completed on March 28th, 2009. The commentary in the online Latin English Study Bible continues to be a work in progress.
This version of the Bible is called the Latin English Study Bible. It is entirely in the public domain with no copyrights, trademarks, or other restrictions. Do not contact me for permission to do something with this version of the Bible, it is public domain. It is owned by everyone or no one. Do with it as you will. Just don't do anything with it that might incure the wrath of God. Publishers are welcome to print and distribute copies of the Catholic Public Domain Version of the Sacred Bible. And anyone can place a copy of this version on their web site.

The Latin English Study Bible consists of each verse of the Latin Vulgate Bible, followed by the English translation of that verse, with some verses followed by some commentary on the translation. The particular edition of the Latin Vulgate Bible used is the Sixtux V and Clement VIII Vulgate Edition. The English translation is the text of the Catholic Public Domain Version of the Sacred Bible. Some verses are followed by a commentary, mostly on the translation of the text. The editor, translator, and commentator of the Latin English Study Bible is Ronald L. Conte Jr., under the grace and providence of God.
The Latin English Study Bible is intended to assist persons interested in the Latin Vulgate Bible by providing a recently edited version of the Latin Vulgate text, along with a verse-by-verse translation. Translation commentary is included to help the reader understand the translation of the text at various points of difficulty or interest.
